"Kim and I had just sold our home in 28 days which we thought would take 9 months with the market being so slow. We spent a week looking at homes throughout the Papillion and Bellevue area.
I stumbled by a Galaxy home in which someone was walking through. It was the builder, Mr. Birkel. I asked him if I could see the floor plan and he stated sure and opened the house and let me tour. I liked the open floor plan but Kim wanted certain upgrades and this house was already finished. Mr. Birkel mentioned he had two other homes, one of which was right down the block and still under construction. The floor plan was almost identical but had many of the upgrades my wife was interested in.
After seeing the house again with Kim, we both thought it would work out if the changes we wanted could be accomplished. We asked to have cabinets in the dining room added, (the) island to be solid oak, fans installed in the bedrooms and sprinkler system installed.
We have bought three other homes in the past and never had the service and experience we got from Mr. Birkel. In addition, we had our own home inspector inspect the house and his report concluded, " Construction is solid with many upgrades in molding, appliances, fixture & equipment not usually seen except in higher priced homes," this made Kim and I very happy with the purchase of our new home.
Upon signing the contract, we decided to add a storage room to the basement wall for yard equipment and a roof over the deck. Mr. Birkel worked independently and had all the work completed upon closing with the same standards which was remarkable. We thought it would take a couple of weeks after closing to complete.

It is not often a client and builder has such a good relationship. Mr. Birkel has been the absolute professional contractor any client would wish to come by. He listened to our details and completed tasks ahead of the timeframe he gave us. Mr. Birkel has met every measure we have asked of him. We truly recommend anyone desiring to build a brand new home give him a serious consideration as his integrity, work, materials & costs are unbeatable.

We went back to Texas and did not return for a month. When we returned our house was almost finished and we were thrilled.
Our house was finished ahead of schedule with very few items noted on the “walk through”. It was so nice to have the personal service of the building contractor. Even though our house was not a custom home, we felt like we received “custom” attention from Larry and Brian.
